We are proud to anounce you that we will be running a Kite Challenge in Abu Dhabi Islands this w-e from friday 15th to Saturday the 16th end of the day!!
In collaboration with (F-One) and his Highness The Sheikh Ahmed Bin Hamdam Al Nayhan we will have a w-e in the AD islands and if the wind picks up we'll run race and freestyle contest!
Friday 15th Jan 2010 11:00 - Departure from Futaisy Marina. 12:00 - Competitors meeting and drawing. 13:00 - 16:00 Race, Freestyle.(if no wind wakeboard) 16:00 - Barbecue.

Ben Wilson's new movie - "Shades of Green"
The movie features Ben Wilson, Reo Stevens, Ian Alldredge and Bear Karry in Indonesia doing what they do - surfing and kiting.
The four of them jumped on a serious swell and some early season wind, resulting in some great kitesurfing barrels. The trip was well documented and the three day swell that the boys lucked into has been accumulated into a 35 minute long movie.

This year for the second edition of our Oman Kite Challenge organised in collaboration with RedBull Oman, all local newspapers were there to cover this unique event in the region. We were glad to see that all enjoyed the event! Even the local and Muscat watchers had a great time!

KPWT Morocco 2009 - Kriss Kinn on the podium

For the ladies, Leticia Quesada (SPA, OZONE) was kiting well and faced Kriss Kinn (US, Magicswell) for the third spot on the podium. Unfortunately for Quesada, Kinn was in no mood to give up her position and progressed into the next heat against Kari Schibevaag (NOR, OZONE). Unfortunately Gisela Pulido (SPA, AIRUSH) was once again too strong for the ladies and went on to take her fourth Freestyle Event for 2009. She is looking so smooth on the water, with her kite position low when performing her power moves and handlepasses that cannot be matched.
Kriss finishes on the third step of the podium! And is still third overall just behind Gisela Paulido. Congrats Kriss!

KPWT Canada 2009 - Final Press Relese
The last day of the Acadie Kiteboard Pro 2009 and it has been a successful week in Canada with all the competitions disciplines being run under good conditions.
The disciplines were run in many locations, with a bus transporting the riders in and around the area.
Our International Team Rider Kriss Kinn finishes 2nd on freestyle, 2nd racing and 3rd on the waves!
Kriss is now on the third place overall in the KWPT ranking! We wish her good luck and will continue to support her in all her challenges!
